The Amazing Race Ends with a Sprint to the Finish!
Last night we celebrated our 10th Team Challenge finale! With a total of 2360 pounds lost in the last 10 weeks, we broke the record for the most pounds lost of any Team Challenge so far! This truly WAS an Amazing Race!
Along with celebrating our top three teams, we inducted more clients into the 20, 30, 40, and 50 pound club than ever before! It was a powerful example of what happens when people come together to support and encourage each other and make personal decisions to change their lives!
Here's a look at some of our big winners!
Most pounds lost by a female: Kimberli Zonker 51.8 pounds!
Most pounds lost by a male: Frank Stillwell 46.3 pounds!
Highest % of weight loss for a female: Peggy Schwartz 20.1%
Highest % of weight loss for a male: Jerry Hatcher 20.5%

As we close out another Team Challenge, there is always a little sadness. By the 10th week of this challenge this group has bonded and it's hard to let go! We traveled through holidays, encouraged each other when the going got tough, enjoyed each others company on the Fast Forward events and supported each other on Face Book! It was an amazing ten weeks!
We said our goodbyes last night to the Amazing Race, but we look forward to our next challenge "BEYOND THE LIMITS" in January.
We have a great 4 weeks ahead of motivating and inspiring events to keep our clients focused and on the right path.
Tuesday,December 20th noon and 6pm. Glenda and I will be team teaching a VISION class.
Tuesday, December 27th noon and 6pm. I'll be sharing one of my yearly traditions, choosing a word for the year!
Tuesday, January 3rd, noon and 6pm. We'll be getting closer to our climb and I'll be taking you to the base of Mt. Everest to get you ready for the adventure!
Tuesday, January 10th, noon and 6pm. I'll be presenting the program introduction class for the upcoming Team Challenge. Everyone who is enrolled in the winter Team Challenge should attend this very important class explaining the nutritional plan in detail!
I threw out a little contest last night for the next 4 weeks as well...here's how it works. For EVERYONE who loses 4 pounds between December 13th and January 17th, they will be entered into a drawing for $100! I thought it would be a fun way to stay focused during these holiday weeks!
Congratulations to ALL of you who participated in The Amazing Race and completed the race! You have a lot to be proud of. I hope that you continue to live out the lessons you learned and that the changes you made will be for life! That will be truly amazing!

There's NO QUIT IN US...even after breaking ALL records!
Oh, what a day at The Healthy Weigh! The 9th leg of this Amazing Race turned out to be a record breaking, goal meeting, over the top kind of a leg! We celebrate with friends who reached "one"derland, saw weights they haven't seen in 30 years and had just plain old great weeks! It was a blast!
We did something on this 9th week of the Team Challenge that we've never done before this early in the challenge...we broke the weight loss record of ALL previous Team Challenges! We went over the top and still have one more week to kick the record up another notch! Congratulations to this group of outstanding people...they started the race out strong and are finishing even stronger!
As we close in our our 10th week of this challenge, I reminded our participants that winners, champions don't quit! When things get tough, when they don't feel like they can go on, they reach down inside of themselves and say, "There's No Quit In Me." That's where champions are made, that place where a decision must be made. Will I give up now or will I rise up and say, there's no quit in me?!!!
We celebrated with teams who decided and have put action to their decision. Team 'No Sugar, Just Spice' won at noon with a 2.19 % of weight loss! Lynelle and Karadee were the first team to arrive with a 2.19% of weight loss for the week and they were excited about it!
At Six, 'Trophy Wife Wannabe's' took the win with a 2.83% of weight loss! Marna and Marianne ran a victory lap before they landed on the check-in mat! They had a lot to celebrate this week and it showed!!
Next Tuesday will be our 10th Team Challenge Grand Finale and they just keep getting better! We will be weighing in some of our teams at noon but everyone will becoming back for the Finale and celebration at 6! It is going to be Grand!

We're Climbing a Mountain!!!!!
The big announcement was made yesterday at the Team Challenge. This Amazing Race group was given their next clue...it read something like this:
Take a flight to South Asia, find your way to the Himalayas. There will you continue on to the base of Mt Everest. You will receive more instruction there.
We're climbing Mt. Everest!
We're taking this weight loss journey BEYOND THE LIMITS!
Our theme for the Winter 2012 Team Challenge... "BEYOND THE LIMITS."
Before Sir Edmond Hillary and Tensing Norgay stood on top of Mt. Everest in 1953, climbing to 29,028 feet was thought to be impossible. Now this mountain has come to symbolize human achievement.
Mt. Everest evokes a powerful metaphor. It is one of the most unforgiving environments on Earth. For every three people who reach the summit, one dies trying. When the stakes are this high, each team member plays a critical role, not only in the team's success, but its very survival.
Even though you may not experience arctic temperatures, hurricane force winds, or seemingly bottomless crevasses, you do face the challenge of consistently doing the right thing. Making the right choices. Changing your beliefs.
I'm sure most of our clients would agree that losing weight and keeping it off is one of the hardest things they've ever tried to accomplish. Losing weight and keeping it off can be like climbing a mountain. Just like a climbing expedition, you must forge an inspiring vision, overcome obstacles and stay focused, to consistently be your best and reach the top, your goal weight.
Going "Beyond The Limits" is what it's going to take to reach the top...reach goal weight and keep it off for life! I reminded our clients that to accomplish this great task they were going to need:
An Attitude with Altitude
A Courageous Spirit
A Willingness to Change
And a decision to NEVER GIVE UP!
The difference between defeat and giving up is in perspective. Defeat is often only a temporary situation. Defeat is an opportunity to learn, so that we can go back and do things differently. Giving up is what makes defeat permanent. When we give up, we never try again.
I also reminded our alumni that the top is the most vulnerable place to be. Even in mountain climbing, once you've reached the summit, you're only halfway to your goal. You still have to make your way to the bottom of the mountain. Or in the case of our alumni, keep walking the walk, always looking for the new challenges and working the program.
We're excited about our Winter Team Challenge that begins in January...but we're still very focused on the task at hand. The Amazing Race! Who will be the first team to arrive???
Our winning teams for this week were 'Losing It' with a 1.86 % of weight loss. Congratulations Barry and Tony! At six, team 'Happy Feat' took the win again with a 2.33% of weight loss! Sue and Jerry, you had an amazing week!
Our teams came together for another 151 pounds of weight loss this week! Thanksgiving week, I might add! How exciting is that? We finished No Cave November out strong and awarded Annie B. with $100 prize!!! Speaking of 100...we celebrate with Ryan B. last night as he reached his 100 pound mark! It was a great day at The Healthy Weigh!!
We have lots in store in the next few weeks to finish out this Amazing Race breaking all kinds of records and then head into 2012 to go Beyond The Limits!

Play Out The Tape
It's Thanksgiving week! The choices we make this week will not only determine our Tuesday weigh in, but will take us down a path and determine our success for the rest of the holiday season and beyond.
If I had my way, this week would have been a week when I would have had a one on one, in your face kind of a visit, with each and every client at The Healthy Weigh. Although we meet in a group setting, I did my best to help each client feel very personally connected to what I was saying. Going off program on Thanksgiving...just isn't worth it!
We learned the powerful lesson of "playing out the tape." We looked at two scenarios of Thanksgiving day and played out the tape together. The first scenario was the plan to eat off program and just have a little bit of everything. The tape looked like this when played out...
Although I took just a little bit of everything, my plate is over flowing. I sit down to eat and enjoy the momentary feeling that the high fat rich food brings. It's not long after that that I get a little bit of each dessert too. As the day passes I feel sick to my stomach. I'm not sure if I can make it through the afternoon without getting sick and needing to excuse my self. I head home, feeling ill, guilty, frustrated and sorry for the choices I made. My family seems to be almost glad that I didn't stick to my program. The rest of the weekend seems to spiral out of control. I've already blown it, why stop now. When Tuesday rolls around, there's no way I'm showing up to the Team Challenge to be humiliated at the weigh in. I make a decision to quit the program and start up again after the holidays...it's the holidays for goodness sake. Even though I've lost 15 pounds on this team challenge, I quit, repeating the pattern of my life and putting all my weight back on and more. I'm not sure I can even go back in January because I'm so down on my self...and so the story goes.
The second scenario looks like this...
It's Thanksgiving morning and I'm walking in my first ever Turkey Trot. It was great to be with my Healthy Weigh friends this morning. It makes such a difference to know that I have a group of people who are living and looking toward a new way of life. I arrive to my families meal with a few side dishes in hand. I have a green salad, a great pumpkin delight dessert, cranberry chutney and the apple pear compote. They'll provide the Turkey and I bet everyone is going to want my recipes. I make wonderful choices, staying busy in the kitchen, helping with the children so the young moms can eat in peace, I have a terrific day. I leave with a little turkey breast in a to go box and when I lay my head down on my pillow that night I am feeling as powerful as I ever have! The weekend is set, I've got food in the fridge, decorating and shopping to do and I feel amazing! I can't wait for Tuesday! At The Team Challenge I lose 3 pounds for the week and get the clapper!!! :-) I am entered into the No Cave November drawing and I WIN the $100! I'm enrolled in the Winter Team Challenge because when you are working to change your life...you don't take a break, you keep on running! By spring I am at my goal weight and feel better than I have in 25 years! I've changed my thinking...and I've change my life!

With a challenging season ahead of us, accountability will be more important than EVER! We've got just the group to hold our feet to the fire!

Team 'Thunder and Lightning' was the first team to arrive at 6 with a 2.31 % for the week. Debbie and Peggy, you girls rocked!

Learning to Cope on the Race!
What an Amazing day! That's right...it was Amazing! On this 5th leg of the Amazing Race our teams lost a total of 264 pounds! We have got a group of people who are "not caving" into the pressures of what November can bring. It's NO CAVE NOVEMBER, and it shows!
Our top teams were excited to be the first to arrive on this 5th pit stop. At Noon our brother and sister team, 'Do It or Die' took the win with a 2.08 % of weight loss! Congratulations Darrel and Jackie! And hey...have fun decorating those trophy boards!
Our Six pm group celebrated with team 'Trophy Wife Wannabes' with a weight loss % of 2.43! Marna and Marianne, what a journey you've been on, you are looking great!
We have fun each Tuesday, that's for sure, but we also come away each week focused and thinking for a change! Yesterday I spent time encouraging our teams to look a little closer at their coping skills. In my opinion, learning to cope in healthy ways, is truly one of the greatest tools that we need to not only reach our goal weight, but more importantly keep it off for life.
To cope, is to take what’s inside of you, fear, anxiousness, stress, insecurities, overwhelm…wrestle with it, and then get it out! Coping; wrestling or grappling with difficulties and then acting to overcome them.
So, when we say that we use food to cope, drugs to cope, and alcohol to cope…we’re not coping. We're avoiding, stuffing, numbing, and disengaging from what’s inside of us. We’re just postponing the work that needs to be done to promote real healthy living. I've seen people who postpone the work that needs to be done, for a life time.
We all have stress, sorrow, anxiety, fear. We’ve had hard times this week in this very group. Losses, bad news, surgeries…hard life stuff. It’s what we do with all of that that makes the difference. It’s learning to process the issues instead of numbing or avoiding them.
I’ve seen comments on face book like…"I coped with food this week.” The correct statement would have been, “I used food this week to avoid coping.” Remember coping is wrestling or grappling with difficulties and acting to over come them.

Keep your NO CAVE NOVEMBER weight loss graph going! (Make sure you are in that drawing at the end of the month for an 8 pound loss!)

"We're Not Caving"
The average American gains 7 to 10 pounds between Halloween and New Years' Day! Not us!!! We're not caving into societies bad habits! Our teams lost 206 pounds the week of Halloween and we're going to keep on going!
You've heard of No Shave November? Well, we're participating in our own way with "No Cave November!" Young and old men alike join in the first day of November and just say no to shaving! No shave November...they stay committed even when it itches, even when they start to feel frustrated. They stay the course throughout the month to end up with what they want... a beautiful beard!
We're joining together to just say no to holiday weight gain! We're going to stay committed even when we're itching to eat off program and even when we feel frustrated. We'll stay the course and end up with what we want on November 29th... 8 pounds off and a ticket in a drawing for $100! "We're Not Caving!!"
It was an exciting day to weigh in team after team that lost weight this week! Our first teams to arrive at Noon and Six were 'Thin and Trim' with a 1.67% of weight loss for the week. Congratulations Meretha and Jeanine, and 'Let's Go Make it Low', Barbara and Eileen with a weight loss % of 1.91! Both teams received a little bit of Africa on this Amazing Race for their prize for the week, plush animal print throws!
I taught the great lesson this week about restaurant eating! We repeated the great mantra, "The food you need is in the kitchen." You can be so successful on this program eating out. You just have to realize that even though our program foods don't show up on the menus in our favorite restaurants, the food we need to eat to lose weight, is in the kitchen of the restaurant! The secret to eating out and staying on program is being educated about your nutritional plan and having confidence when you order! I provided extra servings of both of those this week so our clients are ready to eat out and lose weight too!
As we head in to the 5th leg of this Amazing Race, every competitor has the ability to make November be the greatest, healthiest November of their lives! After yesterday's weight loss our teams have 829 pounds to go to break the record of any Team Challenge. I believe that this group of people will do just that! It's going to be Amazing!!!

It's All About The Leverage!
We are on the third pit stop of this Amazing Race and we've got some teams racing out in front. Who will be the first team to arrive at the final pit stop of this 10 week race?
It was exciting to see two brand new teams win for the week! At Noon Deena and Amanda, team 'Fighting Temptation' arrived first with a 2.03% of weight loss! They will love the prize they earned this week for coming in first place. Nancy Higgins is providing her cooking class again for the top 2 teams. They not only get to learn how to cook, but they get to take home the prepared food too! Thanks so much Nancy!
At Six, Jerry and Sue, team 'Happy Feat' won for the evening with a 2.31% of weight loss! Their happy feat jumped right down on that check in mat to receive the prize for the day and of course the traveling gnomes. They'll be joining Amanda and Deena for that cooking class at Nancy's. What fun!
I brought up a serious subject Tuesday on this leg of the race. I introduced a tool that makes losing weight and keeping it off easier...leverage! A lever is a device that we use in order to lift or move a tremendous burden we could not manage on our own.
We’ve got to continue to ask the question…what produces the greatest and most lasting change in an individual?
Chances are, if you are not experiencing lasting change, it is because you are changing something for the wrong reason or there are not enough compelling reasons for why you should commit to changing in the first place. If this is true for you, you are living in a dangerous place I refer to as “No Man’s Land.” You see, in No Man’s Land, you aren’t totally happy, but the problem is you’re not unhappy enough to do something about it. As I said, there are few, if any, compelling reasons to attempt change; therefore, you don’t.
What's great is that there is a tool you can use to help discover your motivation to change. That tool is leverage.
In my experience, 20% of any change is knowing "how to change" but 80% is knowing "why you must." Change requires more than just establishing the knowledge that you should change. It is about knowing at the deepest, most basic emotional level that you must change. If we gather a strong enough set of reasons, we can change in a minute something we’ve failed to change for years. Those reasons—the why—are what provide the leverage. The greatest leverage you can create for yourself is the pain that comes from inside, not outside. The pain of knowing that you have failed to live up to your own standards for your life.(ouch)
Access enough leverage and there will be nothing you can’t change.
So ask yourself this: That thing, whatever it is you’ve been trying to change but haven’t followed through with—what will it ultimately cost you if you don’t change? And what will you ultimately gain if you do? With knowledge of the answers to those questions, you’ll be able to create lasting change in every aspect of your life. That’s leverage!
Linking pain to overeating and pleasure to eating healthy is a MUST to keep your weight off permanently.

1. Make a list of the pain that overeating is or will cause you
2. Listen to CD # 2 and complete the homework provided

The Race is on...and it's gonna be a good one! Our 70 Teams kicked off this Amazing Race with a 747 pound weight loss for the week! I was inspired by the great effort of all our racers! What a fantastic ten weeks this is going to be.
Here's a run down of the top teams to arrive at the first pit stop!

The first week of each Team Challenge never lacks in great enthusiasm as we experience such over the top weight loss, but the key to finishing a race strong is to keep up the pace. That won't happen because our clients focus on the food, or the exercise or the amount of water they drink. The strength in which they finish this race will have EVERYTHING to do with how they think!
Your thought life will be be the number one key to you losing your weight and keeping it off for life.
You are what you think!
I have observed in the last 30 years in the weight loss business that the quality of peoples thinking leads to the quality of their results.
Poor thinking produces negative progress.
Average thinking produces no progress.
Good thinking produces some progress.
Great thinking produces great progress.
Good thoughts and action can never produce bad results and bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.
Our thoughts dictate our feelings and our feelings dictate our actions every time!
The question I asked on this 2nd week of the Amazing Race was..."Is my desire for success and to improve my life strong enough to prompt me to change my thinking?"
If the answer is yes then these are some practicals ways to start to change your thinking for good!

The Amazing Race!
So the question is...Which team will be the first to arrive...December 13th when we cross the finish line at our final pit stop on this Amazing Race?
Yesterday we began the 10th season of The Team Challenge, The Amazing Race, and I'm excited! Excited for all that will take place in the lives of our teams over the next 10 weeks. We will not be racing around the world in the next 10 weeks but we will be changing our thinking and changing our lives on this Amazing Race!
70 teams weighed in at The Healthy Weigh yesterday! Those 70 teams represent 140 individuals who are serious about losing 20, 30, 40, 50...or more pounds by December 13th! It was fun for me to introduce the teams with their crazy teams names and even a few outrageous costumes. Who knew losing weight and creating permanent change could be so fun?
I'm also thrilled about our new addition to this Team Challenge...our Alumni group.
Eighteen of our maintenance clients showed up wearing bright orange Healthy Weigh Alumni Tee Shirts! They too are racing towards the finish line. Maintaining weight is a journey all in its self and this group is going to lead the way.
As we start out this Amazing Race, we also announced a way for our teams to stay even more connected, while they support and encourage each other. Everybody knows that on the Amazing Race, it's all about the advantage...the fast forwards! Well, we announced our new addition to this seasons Team Challenge, "Fast Forwards." Our teams will have the opportunity to meet outside of The Healthy Weigh in social settings to do life together! From the Turkey Trot to the dinner out at Red Robin, our teams will have a chance to meet up with fellow racers and experience a healthy life style together! We think this is going to be a great encouragement to our teams and a lot of fun!
Each week I will be offering up a task that each racer has the opportunity to accomplish before the next weigh in...

The first step to any change is deciding what you want. We spend a lot of time thinking about what we DON'T want, but little time thinking about what we DO want! This weeks task is to decide what you want, write it down and bring it back next week for a ticket in the drawing!

EXTRAORDINARY Grand Finale!
WOW...and let me say that backwards...WOW! What a finish! We just keep breaking records at The Healthy Weigh! With 140 pounds lost this last week of the Team Challenge, we broke the all time record of the greatest % lost for any Team Challenge! The participants of this "Extraordinary Life" Team Challenge showed us just what people are really capable of when they make a decision to live a better story!
We had some amazing individual successes as well as Team success! Get a load of these numbers!!!
Male with the greatest weight loss RYAN BOYLES with 70.0 pounds!!! (all time record)
Female with the greatest weight loss ANNIE BANCEU with 40.9 pounds! (repeat winner from last T/C)
Male with the greatest % of weight loss RYAN BOYLES with a 19.83% of weight loss!
Female with the greatest % of weight loss KATLYN HUNT with a 20.23% of weight loss!
(Katlyn, that means you had the over all greatest weight loss % of anyone in the Team Challenge!)
We also celebrated with Jennifer Richman who had the greatest % of weight loss for the week and won the Fall Team Challenge tuition as a prize! Jenn took the prize with a 4.87% for the week!
Our top three teams were celebrated by all!
#3 with a 16.04% for the Team Challenge: "Trim the Fat" Chris and Liz you did it!!!
You went this whole 10 weeks without ever winning a weekly team prize! You stayed strong and focused and it paid off! It's great to watch a husband and wife team re-write their stories together!
#2 with a 16.72% for the Team Challenge: "Wild Zumba Lumpas" Betty and Katlyn, I am so proud of you!! You have been a fun, but serious mom and daughter team! It's been a privilege to walk beside you on this journey! (Katlyn, you look H.O.T.)
#1 with a 17.12 % of weight loss for the Team Challenge: "Beauty and the Beast" Ryan and Jenn, you rocked it! Jenn, I'm so thankful that you took the 'beast' role and showed Ryan how it's done! Ryan, what can I say? 70 pounds! A record breaking weight loss! You were an inspiration to all of us! What a 'beauty!'
As we close out another successful Team Challenge, I'm overwhelmed by the community support that our teams demonstrate. From our weekly gatherings to our support and encouragement on face book, I would challenge anyone near or far, to find a program that produces this kind of results! It's a powerful community to be a part of!
We had great numbers of clients reach their 20, 30, 40 and 50 pound weight losses for this Team Challenge! We also had 4 participants reach their 100 lb mark during this last 10 weeks! Congratulations to Ken, Annie, Mark and Kris!
We've got 3 weeks of training ahead of us to prepare for the "Amazing Race" fall Team Challenge beginning October 11th!
Next week Nancy will deliver yet another great cooking class to inspire us to eat the best food and prepare them well.
The following Tuesday, Glenda will help us learn to resolve conflict instead of using food to numb or avoid it.

The Words You Speak Can Change Your Life!
Words carry enormous power. The power to heal and the power to hurt. The power to help or the power to destroy. Our words either spoken out loud or spoken internally have the ability to influence our behavior more than anything else we do!
Week # 9 of this Team Challenge was the perfect time to talk about words. As we head into our final week of this EXTRAORDINARY LIFE Team Challenge we need all the help we can get to finish strong. Our words will help us do that! The words that we choose to speak might be just the thing we need to change as we continue to re-write our stories.
Things are heating up as we head into our last week. The top teams are running close! Who will be the winner of the EXTRAORDINARY LIFE Team Challenge?
At Noon Betty and Katlyn did a little happy dance when they weighed in! They are doing a great job together as mom and daughter! They took the win with a 1.93% of weight loss for the week! Team 'Wild Zumba Lumpas' are working hard and it shows! Congratulations on the win and on receiving Glenda's "Back Pack" conference as a gift! It will be life changing!
Annie and Jenn did it again at Six! 'The Branches' won for the evening group with a 1.50% of weight loss. Congratulations you two. With all the things going on in your lives, you've impressed us with your continued commitment to taking care of yourselves!
We shared a little Sansgria for CHOW TIME, and celebrated another great week of weight loss. We've only got 82 pounds to go to break the all time Team Challenge record! I think we've got this thing!!!
It's hard to put into words what happens each week at The Team Challenge. This week I told a story that inspired all of us to think about change. As we focused on the power of words, re-parenting is sometimes necessary to begin to believe that life can really look different! I told a story about a young man named "George." He is our inspiration for the week as we had an anonymous donor come forth with tuition for the Fall Team Challenge to the client with the greatest % of weight loss this last week! Who's going to take it???? We're calling this one the "George Special."
It's exciting to be planning the finale for this EXTRAORDINARY LIFE Team Challenge. Tuesday at 6PM marks our 9th Finale! They just keep getting better! Come, invite a guest and plan to celebrate all that you've done in the last 10 weeks!

Road Blocks, Clues, Detours and Pit Stops!
Extraordinary people stay focused when they come up to a road block,take clues from their environment,they don't let detours determine their outcome and they make really quick pit stops!
Tuesday's Team Challenge was another one of those days to remember. We celebrated GREAT weight loss, saw people reach their goal weight, gave a standing ovation to yet another one of our friends reaching his 100 lb mark(GREAT JOB KRIS!)and were introduced to the theme of the Fall Team Challenge!
While I was talking about road blocks, clues, detours and pit stops, we were interrupted by a team from the "Amazing Race" looking for their final destination!What a time we had letting them know that "they were the first team to arrive!" It was also our opportunity to introduce our Fall theme, The Amazing Race! We are going to have a crazy adventure Oct. 11th through Dec. 13th! Can't wait!
In the mean time, we are focused on the last two weeks of this Extraordinary Life Team Challenge. At noon and Six we had two teams win for the day who have never been number one for the week! Team 'Starlight' at noon with a 2.14 % of weight loss took the win and had one of their members reach her goal weight today. Congratulations Grethe and Fay! And Fay and extra shout out for reaching your goal today! At Six, 'Hips Hip A Weigh' won for the evening with a 2.01% of weight loss! Jackie and Connie were surprised and excited! Good job you two!
We had a good number of people in our 2.5 pound drawing to win the car detailing by Andrew and apprentice Mark! Heather and Connie and going to have shiny, clean cars! Andrew, thank you for this donation and your support. This prize really inspired people this week to get in that drawing!
We announced our three week "Training Schedule" in between our Team Challenges. We won't be letting up with the support and encouragement for all the clients who are going from one Team Challenge to the next. From cooking classes to conflict resolution, we are ALWAYS looking for ways to inspire and educate our clients!
We've got some great work to do in the next two weeks! Stay focused, dream big and have a fantastic week!

They Just Kept At It!
We celebrate the lives of ordinary people today who did extraordinary things. People who over came obstacles, failed at what they were trying to accomplish and didn't have the support that people need to do great things...but they just kept at it! People like Lucille Ball who was told she'd never be an actress and Michael Jordan who was cut from his high school basketball team.
We talked about ordinary people who kept at it...who created extraordinary lives. Extraordinary lives cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. A person living their very best story, living an extraordinary life is not one who never failed but one who NEVER QUITS...they just keep at it!
We lost 130.2 pounds today! Our noon time group really rocked it this week with 61.6 pounds! Congratulations to you at noon that really had some amazing losses this week! Team 'Teacher Teacher' won the prize for the day with a 2.28 % of weight loss. Marianne and Marna, congratulations on a great week! You're not going to be recognized when you go back to school next week. We'll miss you at noon! Thank you to Ryan of 'Beauty and the Beast' for the Bed, Bath and Beyond gift cards! Marna and Marianne are going to have fun with those!
At 6, team 'No D'ohs' won for the night with a 2.16% of weight loss. Jim and Shelle, you two had a great week! Congratulations! A big thanks to Bob from team 'Forever Better' for the $200 in product from City Bark! What a great prize!
As we focused on perseverance this week, I announced that next week we will be unveiling the details of the Fall Team Challenge! You won't want to miss the exciting news about our next Team Challenge. Making the decision to continue on is what reaching goals is all about. It's what ordinary people do who live extraordinary lives...they just keep at it!
We still have three weeks left in THIS Team Challenge, so I threw out a challenge to kick it up a notch!

Lose 2.5 pounds and be entered into a drawing to have your car detailed by Andrew and apprentice, Mark!
Your 2nd challenge for the week:
Listen to week #6 of the CD series Body~Soul~Spirit, the spiritual perspective, and do the homework provided.
"JUST KEEP AT IT"...that is the battle cry of extraordinary people! It's going to be another great week...I can feel it!
