What If?


Saddle up your horses...because we are surely blazing a new trail!
Week two of the Team Challenge started out with a bang! Between our three groups, 797.5 pounds were lost! We are well on our way to setting a new record for the most weight loss at any Team Challenge!

Our Noon time group showed up in a powerful way! Not only did they have the winning team of the day, but they had the most weight loss too. 283.9 pounds were lost by that excited group of men and women! Team 'Losers are the New Winners' took the win for the day with a 6.79% of weight loss! Congratulations Karen and Cindy, what a week you had! With the win for the day, this team took the prize too. Glenda donated our first team prize of the challenge, $100 cash! Thank you Glenda for your generous sponsorship! We feel the love!

The five O'clock hour was exciting too! Those teams shed 241.3 pounds to add to the amazing total of the day! Team 'Vantucky Strikes Back' took the win with a 4.23% of weight loss! Scott and Leslie were excited when they rode off with the 'Saddle up Your Horses' immunity idol! This Team Challenge is all about blazing a new trail and the 6 stick horses are going to remind us of that each week when they are presented to the winning teams of the day!

When the 6:30 group arrived, our energy was over the top! We had fun as we celebrated 272.3 more pounds dropped! Team 'Double D's' won with a slim margin! Deanna and Diane lost 4.66% of weight for the week! Congratulations you two! I know you'll be showing off your immunity horses this week!

A lot of celebrating went on yesterday, but some of the highlights for me were throwing confetti on Wendy W. from our noon time group as she met her 200 pound weight loss mark! Wendy, you inspire all of us to stay on the trail! Congratulations! Having clients read" Dear Future Me" letters was powerful too. I believe those letters will inspire us to greater things than we've ever done at any Team Challenge!

Our theme for the week was 'What if?', a question to ask ourselves this week to change the way we think! When you ask yourself that question your brain is no longer looking for reasons it can't, it's looking for ways that you can! What if?

I gifted every Team Challenge client my CD series so that I could 'get in their heads' for the next weeks to come! This journey is all abut changing thinking...and this series will support just that!

Saddle Up Your Horses...


...we've got a trail to blaze!

Let the adventure begin! The Winter Team Challenge is officially under way! We weighed in 74 teams Tuesday to begin an exciting, challenging 10 weeks. The Healthy Weigh was transformed in to a horse stable complete with saddle! With before pictures taken and partnership agreements signed, we are well on our way to the greatest Team Challenge yet! Tuesday marked the opening of our 7th season. I'm already convinced, it will be our best!

At noon, 5 and 6:30 we heard some more creative team names as we weighed our challengers in for the very first time. Matching tee shirts, hats and a couple pair of shades showed the team spirit in the room already. I love it!

As much fun as we had meeting the teams, the seriousness of what we're really here to do was focused on as well. We talked about the word DECISION! Committing to achieving a result, then cutting yourself off from any other possibility! I challenged our teams to step into the zone, to commit to doing what they know for the next 10 weeks!

Our focus for the week as we are just getting started was to take that very important first step...the first step to any change is to decide what you want. We often know what we don't want, but rarely take the time to really look at what we do want.

YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK
: Write a letter to your future self!

Your first and possibly most important challenge of this winter Team Challenge is to write a letter to your future self. Your future self that is fit, healthy, and in control. Your future self that is not using food as a drug of choice but is valuing your physical body and feeding it with great nutrition. Your future self who is proud of what you’ve accomplished and living a life without your weight interfering.

Bring those letters back in next week…no name…no signatures…bring them back in next week to get a ticket in a drawing and win a prize that you are not going to want to miss out on!

We introduced our new Facebook group! We've already got 60 members...I hope you'll join us. Go on Facebook, search for Letha Brandenburg and request to be my friend. I will then, invite you into our Team Challenge group. This is a private group where we can communicate and encouarge each other. It's been fun already!

It's going to be a great 10 weeks. I can already feel it! Get with your partners this week, make a plan for greatness, cut off any other possibility and we'll see you on the trail! Saddle up your horses...this is the great adventure!

Team Challenge Set to Begin!

With a small set back due to our winter northwest weather, we are set and ready to begin our best ever Team Challenge! We've got 68 teams signed up to begin this great adventure on Tuesday. I can hardly wait! 136 people are ready to make a change!

I hope this weekend is a time for these 136 people to get prepared! Making a decision to change takes mental preparation as well as physical work. This would be the weekend to have some serious talks with yourself and makes some serious decisions about how you're going to invest in the next 10 weeks.

I'm ready... are you? Spend this weekend doing what it takes to be ready come Tuesday, Janaury 18th!
