614 Pounds Lost This Week...Not a Bad Start!
Oh how I love Tuesdays! I love the excitement, the celebration, and sharing your successes! This week had extra helpings of all three!
We introduced our noise maker for any weight gain this Team Challenge. We only heard that little horn blow one time with 106 people weighing in! Thanks Jerry for taking it for the team! I'm hoping the sound of that little horn is on your list this week as you link pain to overeating and being over weight!
Noon was fun as 21 teams weighed in for a total of 243.1 pounds lost! The Potluck Pastors...The Final Chapter, took the win for the day with a weight loss % of 5.31 for the week! I guess Bruce and Barry DECIDED! Congratulations to you both...winners of $100 and the recipients of the beautiful melon colored shirts for this spring team challenge! Can't wait to see the art work next week and hoping we get to celebrate Bruce's 100 pound mark!
Six PM was heated up as 32 teams weigh in! 371.4 pounds were lost by this on fire group! We congratulated Chris from team 'Best in Chow' for being the winner of the recruiting contest. Scott Higgins from our winter Team Challenge donated back his $200 to use as an incentive to motivate clients to recruit new members to the Team Challenge. Thanks Chris, for bringing your friends to our life changing program...they are already turning out to be some wild pound puppies!
Team 'Big Hinnes' took the evening win with a weight loss % of 4.83 for the week! The melon colored shirts look terrific on Ron and Tammy. Ron's going to look great at Albertsons this week wearing his new shirt!
We introduced a new segment to the Spring Team Challenge..."Chow Time" with a ring of the dinner bell the chant was shouted out..."It's Chow Time" Each week I will present a quick recipe idea and give away a sample! This week two of our clients took home Lemon and Blueberry Chicken in lettuce wraps! Chow Time is going to be fun!
Gena from Kaiser Permanente donated 4 great insulated lunch bags complete with plastic wear and an ice block! Thanks to Gena and congratulations to our 4 winners! It pays to follow through with your weekly challenge!
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSOR OF THE WEEK:
Glenda Biglaky, MA
YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
Link pain to over eating, being over weight, and /or not making permanent changes with your eating.
The ultimate leverage in human beings to create change always comes down to our ability to change what we link pain to, and what we link pleasure to.
Bring that list in next week for a ticket in the drawing...you know now, you won't want to miss out!
I'm Expecting great things from you this week. Looking forward to seeing you next Tuesday. Remember 20 % of change is knowing "how to change", but 80% is knowing "why you must"!
Always Encouraging You.
Letha

Our minds are a powerful tool. It's reprogramming them that's the work. Thanks Letha for your encouragement!
