Happy 20th Birthday Healthy Weigh!
We had a Birthday Party today! The Healthy Weigh is 20 years old this month and that's reason to celebrate! From the loot bags to all to the extra special presents given out, we celebrated in style!
Every one of our Team Challenge participants who had hit their 20 pound mark received a special gift from Letha, her CD series. Losing weight is a great accomplishment...keeping it off is even better. The information in the CD series will make a difference for permanent weight loss...and that's what we're going after!
At noon, we celebrated our second and first place teams! Team 'Reddy-Set-Go' took home the second place prize of $100! Our big winner of the noon group was team 'Eat Trim, Get Thin'. Laurie and Rhonda were excited to receive the certificate to participate in the Summer Team Challenge for FREE! They looked great in the jackets too! Congratulations you two!
At six, team 'Women In Transition' took the second place win! Gail and Darcy were pretty excited! First place in the evening went to team 'The Sliders'. Becky and Crystal were thrilled to received the Summer Team Challenge gift certificates! They clashed beautifully with their pink shirts and their orange jackets!
Our focus for the week was MATH! I taught my math workshop and hopefully clients walked away saying "I did not know that." Weight loss is not rocket science, but it is science. We talked about the truths of just how many calories our bodies need to not only lose weight, but maintain a healthy weight as well.
YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: Write down every morsel of food you eat on your program journal! To find energy balance we have to be able to be very honest with all the calories that we are consuming!
We lost a total of 88 pounds this week. With two weigh-in's to go, we have 227 pounds to lose to beat the all time Team Challenge record. That's 113 pounds each week! I think we can do it!! We need everyone in attendance to make this goal. I hope you'll make it a priority to be at the next two weigh-in's. We've got a couple of fabulous weeks planned for you!

In the challenge of the week you have loss large amount of weight. That is great.
