Season five started out with a bang! 47 Teams weighed in to begin an eight week journey of fun, weight loss and freedom! We choose FREEDOM as our theme for this summer Team Challenge. Red, white and blue balloons decorated the place while music played and flags were waved! The energy was high as we focused our thoughts ahead to this next 8 weeks.
At noon we said hello to some new friends and some old friends too. We heard some great teams names as each team marched up the isle for their first weigh in! Three returning participants had their names thrown in a drawing for $100 but the drawing would have to wait until our 6PM group had a chance to get in on the fun! I could already feel the love and support at noon...this group has personality!
At Six we kept the party going by weighing in the rest of the groups. As we talked about FREEDOM the mood was set for this summer Team Challenge! Even more names were thrown in to the drawing for losing 4 pounds or more between Team Challenges. It just happened that when I drew the winning ticket, the client who had lost the most weight, 7.4 pounds from the last Team Challenge to this one, won the $100! Congratulations Tressa from team 'Begin-Within'. The evening group is going to have some fun...I can just feel it!
We looked over partnership agreements, glanced at the schedule of events and were challenged for the week to participate fully in this outstanding 8 week program!
Freedom is our theme. You see, to be free is not to do whatever comes naturally, that in fact is bondage to the flesh;It is not to pursue our appetites without restraint. To be free is to possess the desire and the ability to do what is good, to become the person I was created to be, to reach my full potential. That is what we'll be celebrating in the next weeks to come at this Team Challenge!
For our first challenge we always start at the beginning because the first step to any change is to"decide what you want!"
Your first challenge is to write down what you really want! To help you think this way... If you lost your weight and it was permanent what would your life look like then!? That’s what you really want.
YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK IS:
Decide what you want and write it down, make a list, bring it back into the clinic next week.
You might want to know this secret code as well (I AM FREE). Repeat that secret code when you sign in next week and you'll be entered into a drawing for a fabulous prize!
