We dealt with pain last week...it was time to move on to the good stuff, pleasure. Everything we do , we do out of our need to avoid pain or seek pleasure. The lesson was taught with passion Tuesday as I shared the importance of rewarding ourselves for new behavior! Ah ha moments were shared and I'm trusting that I was convincing with my lesson for the week! Rewarding new behavior changes things and change is what we're after!
At noon we announced team 'Crowns of Flavor' taking the win with a 1.79 % of weight loss for the week. Marian and Kathy were surprised and excited as they received the jackets for the day! 67.1 pounds were lost by the noon time teams. It was a great weigh in! With Chow Time and prizes given away for linking pain to our old behavior... our teams left satisfied.
At Six, we put the jackets on an oh so familiar team. 'Big Hinnes' took the win for the third week in a row! It was a special win this week for Ron and Tammy, Tammy was celebrating her birthday with us! Congratulations you guys, and Happy Birthday Tammy! They won for the day with a weight loss % of 1.85. That puts them in first place for the Team Challenge! Who's going to try to beat them this week? 43.6 more pounds were dropped off at Six!
As we enter week # 5 of this Summer Team Challenge, I'm excited to think that clients are getting it! The importance of not only following this great nutritional plan, but changing their beliefs as well. That is where permanent weight loss happens.
YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
Plan rewards for weight loss goals and for behavioral goals. Come in next week with a list of rewards relating to your accomplishments.
Glenda was inspired to offer up another challenge for next weeks Team Challenge weigh in..."Show up looking like your partner!" Kick it up a notch with your partner this week...call them, text them, take a walk together...offer the kind of support that makes a difference!...and then show up next week looking like partners! You'll get an extra ticket in the drawing for this one!
It was a good week at the Team Challenge...I'm hoping it continues for you until I see you again.
Always encouraging you,
Letha
