My heart is full as I sit tonight and ponder the last 10 weeks at this Fall Team Challenge! Over 1340 pounds were lost by a group of committed, decided and successful people! It has been a privilege to spend the last 10 Tuesdays with these great people!
The end of this Team Challenge came down to the wire with an exciting finish!
In third place, and the winners of $300, with a weight loss % of 15.98 was team 'Kickin it with Kankles!' Alyssa and Gail, you did an amazing job! Together you lost 66 pounds!
Second place, and winners of $500, went to a couple of strong women! Team ' The Melt Aways' had a loss of 17.85 % for this Team Challenge! Cindy and Karen, you lead the way this whole Team Challenge. You were an inspiration to everyone with your combined weight loss of 71 pounds! Congratulations!
And in first place and winners of $1000, with an impressive 18.27% weight loss was 'Team One-Eighty!' Barry and Krystal...Congratulations for your awesome weight loss of 89.8 pounds as a team! You fought strong until the very end and your hard work paid off!
Along with these top three teams we had some impressive personal weight loss successes.
Our female with the most weight loss was Jessie M. with 40.6 pounds!
Our female with the greatest % of weight loss and a record for all women at any Team Challenge was Karen G. with a 19.15% of weight loss!
Our male big winner was Barry K. with 52.6 pounds lost and a weight loss % of 20.24!
We announced our winner of the "No Cave November" contest too. Debbie Y. took the great prize of 'Healthy Weigh for Life' for having a weight loss % of 8.45 for the 4 week contest!
If that wasn't enough celebrating we announced the RED team as winners of the GREEN and RED contest! Our $100 visa gift card went to Jeff M!
One of the highlights of the evening was passing out all the awards for all clients who made the 20 pound club! It was an impressive thing to listen to Glenda announce the amount of weight each one of these clients lost in the last 9 weigh ins! We even forgot one...PATTY L. lost 26.0 pounds! I'll be announcing that one at the mall tomorrow over the load speaker! Sorry for leaving you out dear Patty! You Rock!
We still had three team winners of the day to celebrate and congratulate...at noon Team ' The Melt Aways' took the weekly win with 2.27%. Karen and Cindy...you stayed the course for 10 weeks and it shows! You look amazing!
At 5, team 'Kickin it with Kankles' won with a 1.86 %. Alyssa and Gail, I'm so proud of you. You were a fun team and held each other accountable at the same time!
Our final team of the night was 'Team One-Eighty' with a 3.96% loss for the week. Barry and Krystal, you worked hard this week and every week. Way to go!
I'm always a little sad at the end of a Team Challenge. I'll miss these teams and the community spirit they competed with. I'll miss celebrating all the accomplishments! This Team Challenge was overflowing with personal goals being met! It was a great thing to be a part of!
We're heading into a fun 4 weeks, "Christmas Vacation." I hope to see most of you there.
Congratulations to all the participants of this Fall Team Challenge! It has been a great 10 weeks and you have much to be proud of!
