Words carry enormous power! The power to heal or wound, the power to help or destroy, the power to encourage or dishearten. Our words either spoken internally or out loud, have the ability to influence our behavior more than anything else we do. For many of us, the circumstances of our past, dictate how we speak to our selves in the present. Speaking truth over your life will change your life...that's the message of Week #9 of this Team Challenge!
At Noon a consistent team took the win for the first time. Marianne and Frank from team 'Hefty to Healthy Hamstas' won with a 2.16 % of weight loss for the week. I can't wait to see how they decorate those gas cans! :-) Another husband and wife team doing beautifully on the program, congratulations you two!
Team "JaMa Slim" won for the second week in a row at 6:00! Margie and Jim are surprised every time they win! Margie said "We just follow the program!" You guys are looking great! I guess husband and wives owned the challenge this week! I love that!
We've got some exciting things happening as we close out this Spring Team Challenge! We've got only 65 pounds to lose this next week to break the all time record of any Team Challenge! We've got this one in the bag!!
We announced a heart felt competition for the last week of this challenge to inspire everyone participating! Mark Cole from our evening group, made a decision to pay it forward! Pay forward the inspiration, the life change, the support, that he has received in the last two team Challenges! He donated $300 for the top % weight loser for this last week so that they could continue on for the summer Team Challenge! I came along and matched that generous donation so that the top TWO losers this week will move on to the Summer Team Challenge with a full ride scholarship! We decided to dedicate this weeks weight loss to Mark! Mark, we thank you, your life change is making a difference in many lives this week!
We're looking forward to the Grand Finale next week at 6:00! We've got awards to give out, prizes to present and lots of celebrating to do! It would be a great time to invite a guest to hear and see what goes on at The Healthy Weigh!
