HABITS Become Your Destiny!

Let it begin!  Another ten weeks of weight loss, learning and fun! This Thursday marked the 27th season of the Team Challenge and I think it's beginning to become a habit with me! :-)
But seriously, we are going to spend ten exciting, powerful, motivating weeks talking about HABITS! If I wasn't convinced that spending ten weeks focusing on habits wasn't going to change our lives, I wouldn't be doing it!

40 % of our behavior is repeated almost daily…and that would be the good habits and the bad habits! Those things we do on autopilot. The things we do without thinking.
We can choose, we can decide, to put some habits in place that change the very course of our life!  The habits themselves are going to bring about change and they are also going to bring about a better life!

You've heard it said at The Healthy Weigh many times… "Your beliefs become your thoughts,
your thoughts become your feelings,
your feelings become your actions,
your actions become your habits,
your habits become your destiny.”

A habit is defined as a behavior that’s recurrent, often happens without much awareness or conscious intent, and is acquired through much repetition!

You ARE what you repeatedly do...you are your habits!
In your marriages
Raising your children
With your friendships
At your workplace
With your health

Habits…are in our control and that's such great news! Changing our habits allows us to change our destiny.

With our "before pictures" taken and our team names chosen, we are ready to follow our great nutritional plan and look at the habits in our lives. Fall of 2015 is going to be a powerful time in Vancouver, WA!

Your Challenge for the week:
  • Fill out your food and exercise record every day and bring it back in next week for a ticket in the drawing.  (What we do every day matters more than what we do once in a while.)
  • Decorate your folder
The goal of this team challenge is this...We can take our white knuckles off the wheel of decision, our foot off the gas of willpower, and rely on the cruise control of habits!  That’s the promise of habits!

Always encouraging you,

Letha
