We spent the last ten weeks talking about CHANGE, focusing on CHANGE and making CHANGE! What a summer it was at The Healthy Weigh. Our finale Thursday night was the celebration of the hard work and perseverance of many self-changers! We passed out cash, gave out awards and then said goodbye to our 17th Team Challenge!
Here's a look at the results of all the hard work!
Our Top Teams:
1st place with a weight loss % of 17.58 "LIGHTNING STRIKES BACK" Peggy and Debbie!
2nd place with a weight loss % of 17.04 "DOWNWARD DOGS" Buehla and Bethany!

Congratulations to all these amazing woman! You persevered and stay focused for ten weeks, and that's what got you here! We're all proud of you!
We had some outstanding individual winners as well.

We gave away a couple of fall Team Challenges to the two challengers of the week with the greatest % at the noon gathering and the 6 PM gathering. Jake A. and Ruth E. were excited to receive this great award!
One of our former Team Challenge friends donated one dollar coins for each person in the 2 pound drawing this week. The winner, Emily M. received $100, everyone else walked away with a one dollar coin! Thanks Tim for that very cool gift! We had fun with that one!
We celebrated so many self-changers as our 20, 30 and 40 pound clubs took the stage to receive their certificates! Congratulations to all of you who worked hard and made it into one of these prestigious clubs!
CHANGE happened during the summer of 2013 at The Healthy Weigh. We all learned a lot about the stages of change and what it really takes to make it permanent! We leave this challenge more informed and better equipped to keep weight off for life!
I'm excited about our Fall Team Challenge "Let it Go" as we look at the things we need to let go of in order to live out our very best life! I made an exciting announcement last night about the upcoming Fall Team Challenge...
I've been inspired by the TV show "Extreme Body Makeover" where Chris Powell works with an overweight individual for 1year and we see it in one episode! It's always so amazing to see the complete transformation of a life! I love it! Each time I watch, I think..."I'd love to do that. I'd love to mentor a person for a year and help make that kind of a difference." So that's what I'm going to do!
This fall, I will be accepting "applications" from our Team Challenge participants that have 50 pounds or more to lose, the first week of the challenge. I will be choosing one of them to mentor for a year!
This committed client will receive:
One on one support from me
Home visits from me
Grocery shopping trips together
Prepping food together
Digging deep into the homework together
Working out together
Setting goals together
This client will also receive a free counseling session from Glenda each month for a year and will attend my and Glenda's workshops for free!
Who knows...I might even move in with them for a while!! LOL :-)
I will be photographing, videoing and sharing this persons story so that others can be inspired too!
This client will need to commit to investing in the Team Challenge for one year. That is 4 Team Challenges either while they are losing weight, or at the maintenance level as an Alumni! The rest will be FREE!
I am really excited about the opportunity to work closely with someone who is interested in changing their life from the inside out! I'll be explaining the details on the first week of the fall challenge to give all the new clients an opportunity to "apply." Can't wait to get started!
Saying goodbye to a Team Challenge is always emotional for me. I've loved this group and enjoyed the theme. I'll never think about CHANGE in the same way again.
Until Fall...until we learn to "LET IT GO"
Always encouraging you,
Letha
