I Can See Clearly Now...

...the rain is gone! It was gone on Tuesday at The Healthy Weigh! The Team Challenge participants walked into summer fun on Tuesday! Bright sunshine filled the room as our clients continued their journey to goal weight!

As we enter week # 10 of this challenge, the competition is heating up! Our Teams lost a total of 126.4 pounds Tuesday leaving exactly 100 pounds to lose next week to break the all time record for weight loss at any Team Challenge!

At noon team 'Losing It' really lost it with a weight loss % of 2.55 for the day! Congratulations to Chris and Melodye! They are the winners of $100 prize for the week and those beautiful jackets!

The sun was still out at Six when our teams got in a conga line for some summer fun! Team 'Pound Puppies' took the win for the evening with a weight loss % of 2.22! Dalya and Lydia, you two look GREAT!

Our focus this week was on seeing the future clearly! Things get in the way of that sometimes as we pursue great things. Short term thinking, and a short term memory.I challenged our participants to keep their focus on the long term goal instead of the short term gratification. Our memories fail us sometimes too. We stumble on our weight loss program and easiliy forget that we were ever really doing it right! I encouraged a memory that says "I did this before, and I can do this again". Everyone stumbles...but getting back up is what makes you strong!

YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: Carry around your own sunshine!

We thought it would be fun to start a "sunshine movement"! Responsible people carry around their own weather. We want to be known as that! I got on face book last night and already saw many Healthy Friends participating in this fun "movement"!

Have a week, rain or shine, that feels warm and exciting! We've got one week to go and many teams that could take the win!
We look forward to seeing you next week at noon for your regular weigh-in and then back at six to join together for the exciting grand finale! Can't wait!

Always encouraging you.
Letha
