What Do You Believe...


...a very important question to ask yourself! That's what we focused on at our 5th week of this FREEDOM Team Challenge! What you believe has EVERYTHING to do with you keeping your weight off for life!

Our teams showed up today in a big way! We had costumes and look a likes that brought fun and laughter! Team work was demonstrated visually this week!

At Noon, we were happy to announce the winners of the day...team 'Punching down the Pounds.' Crystal and Krista really looked the part today! Congratulations for your 2.09% of weight loss for the week. You were the champions of the day, I guess the song worked! They helped the day time group lose 45.3 more pounds!

At Six "The Incredible Shrinking Women" did just that! Lani and Cathy's hard worked paid off this week. They had a 1.73% of weight loss. With pink boa's in hand, they took home the FREEDOM jackets and the prize for the week. 52.4 pounds were shed at six! Good job teams!

Thank you to teams 'Drop it Like it's Hot' and 'I Know What You Weighed Last Summer' for sponsoring this week's winners. The insulated lunch bags were a hit! Linda from team '8 is Enuff' donated beautiful gifts for our drawing this week too! Because we focused on Teams...when your name was drawn, your team mate won too! Thanks Linda, your support makes a difference.

With all the fun at the Team Challenge, there's always a little serious! And we had our share of that this week as we focused on belief systems. Our actions always follow our beliefs. They key to permanent weight loss is not to act different, but to believe different! What do you believe?

YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
To identify two or more beliefs that have kept you from losing your weight or keeping it off. Bring those back to the clinic next week to be entered in the drawing!

Next week we're going to have some fun with our summer picnic. We're serving lunch at noon and dinner at six. We look forward to sharing a meal with you and having some time to socialize a bit!

We lost 97.7 pounds this week and have 342 pounds to go to break the Team Challenge record that is still held by our very first Team Challenge group! We've got three weigh ins left...that's 114 pounds each week...do your part this week to beat this record!
