You Are What You Think!

The Race is on...and it's gonna be a good one! Our 70 Teams kicked off this Amazing Race with a 747 pound weight loss for the week! I was inspired by the great effort of all our racers! What a fantastic ten weeks this is going to be.

Here's a run down of the top teams to arrive at the first pit stop!

Our 2nd Team to arrive...Meretha and Jeanine, "Thin & Trim" with a 4.93 % of weight loss.
Our 1st Team to arrive...Annie and Kimberli, "Amazing Grace(noon)" with a 5.06 % of weight loss for the week!

Our 1st Team to arrive...Karen and Rebecca, "This is How It's Dunne", with a 5.0 % of weight loss for the week!

Congratulations to all the top teams this week! You are off to an outstanding start in this Amazing Race!

Thank you to our Sponsors for the week, Glenda Bigalky and Barry Brandenburg. Our winning Teams of the day walked away with not only the Amazing Race gnome but with $100 as well!

The first week of each Team Challenge never lacks in great enthusiasm as we experience such over the top weight loss, but the key to finishing a race strong is to keep up the pace. That won't happen because our clients focus on the food, or the exercise or the amount of water they drink. The strength in which they finish this race will have EVERYTHING to do with how they think!

Your thought life will be be the number one key to you losing your weight and keeping it off for life.

You are what you think!

I have observed in the last 30 years in the weight loss business that the quality of peoples thinking leads to the quality of their results.

Poor thinking produces negative progress.
Average thinking produces no progress.
Good thinking produces some progress.
Great thinking produces great progress.

Good thoughts and action can never produce bad results and bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.

Our thoughts dictate our feelings and our feelings dictate our actions every time!

The question I asked on this 2nd week of the Amazing Race was..."Is my desire for success and to improve my life strong enough to prompt me to change my thinking?"

If the answer is yes then these are some practicals ways to start to change your thinking for good!

1. Expose your self to good input
2. Expose yourself to good thinkers
3. Choose to think good thoughts
4. Act on your good thoughts
5. Allow you emotions to create another good thought

Sow a thought, and you reap an action;
Sow an action, and you reap a habit;
Sow a habit, and you reap a character;
Sow a character, and you reap a destiny.

We've got 56 days left of this Amazing Race! I wonder who will use this opportunity to change their thinking and change their destiny?

YOUR TASK FOR THE WEEK:
Listen to week # 1 of the CD series and do the home work provided!

YOUR THREE WEEK HOLD OVER TASK:
"Not One Stinkin' Piece" (of Halloween candy that is)

The outcome of this Amazing Race lies right inside of each one of you! How will you choose to think this week to determine how you act this week? Only you can decide that!

I look forward to being impressed again as we head into week # 3 of this Amazing Race!

Always encouraging you,
Letha
