Season Four Begins!

I'm thrilled to sit and write about the opener of season four of The Healthy Weigh Team Challenge! Fifty three teams weighed in yesterday to begin a 10 week journey of fun and change! I knew things were going to be explosive when I had to pop over to Costco yesterday and buy some more chairs! The word is getting out about the success of the Team Challenge.

We met some new friends and weighed in some long time friends as well, at our noon time meeting! Before pictures were taken and team names were announced to start out this 10 week challenge. I'm already feeling the connections that our noon group will have with each other. The support and encouragement between the teams really comes out strong at noon!

At 6, we did the same with even more teams! We saw pom poms, matching shirts, heard a song or two...even some puppies barking! The doors were open...the air conditioning was blaring...and we still heated up the place! What fun we're going to be having at 6:00 on Tuesdays!

We did throw a little money around last night! Tammy H. from team 'Pound Puppies' went home with $100, for losing weight between the last Team Challenge and this one! She was in a drawing with other team participants that did a great job losing weight the last few weeks as well!...Tammy's SCREAM when she won, was worth the money! :-)

As much fun as we had, we also had a time of looking at the first step to making any change!!! Knowing What You Want! So often we know what we DON'T want...but that doesn't take us where we want to go. This week I challenged the Spring Challenge participants to decide what they really want so that they have something to move towards!

YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
Make a list of what you really want. When you've reached your goal and you've kept it off...what will your life look like? That is what you really want.
Write that down this week and bring it back in to the clinic for a ticket in a drawing!(you won't want to miss this)

Have a great week...Make every day count...no regrets!
Letha
