Motivation is in the Doing!

Week # 5 of the Team Challenge was fun! I have to say that the evening group really brought it! Teams at Six provided us with songs, poems and clever costuming! The team spirit was really felt this week!

This weeks winners both at Noon and Six have done this winning thing before! The winning team for the day attends the Noon group. 'Boys to Thin' you did it again with a weight loss % of 2.36 for the week. Bill and Joe are going to get to take their wives for an over night stay to the Hotel Monaco Courtesy of Craig Thompson, General Manager. His beautiful wife is our very own, Carbo, with team 'Best in Chow'. Congratulations to Joe and Bill and a big Thank you to our Sponsor, Craig, from Hotel Monaco.

Team 'Kick Butt,Lose Gut' got to take home the pretty orange jackets with a weight loss % of 2.17! Shonda and Alyssa did it again! They seem to be going head to head with that team 'Boys to Thin'. You two are looking amazing!

We discussed motivation this week at the Team Challenge! They say motivation doesn't last...neither does bathing, that's why we do it daily! The point made Tuesday was that motivation is in the doing! To keep motivation high, we must continually do.
Motivation comes from the word motive...the inner drive that causes one to act. What that motive is....is different for every person. The key to keeping motivation alive...is to figure that out and do something about it!

YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
Get motivated! Do something about your motivation and bring in a written slip of what you did! That is the only way to get a ticket in the drawing next week!

Motivation will drive you this week. Choose to pump yours up! You will be pleased with the results that your own motivation brings you.

Until next week...Choose your thoughts and words carefully...reward yourself for this grand new lifestyle that you are living! Be proud! I'm proud of you!

Always Encouraging You.

It has been exhilerating to work on this motivation project and to mentally go to the place I intend to be again. I will never forget that feeling at the finale of my first team challenge when I made my 100lb mark and squeeled in amazement at how far I had come and racing over to give you a big hug, Letha!!!
I have lived in my own self pity and shame since the holidays for putting weight on after surgery and settling for that being the "new me" ... but NO MORE! No way sista! The valiant and radiant Heather of last spring is coming back to regain that title! NO ONE can take this from me! This is my moment to take back. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the blood, sweat and tears that you and Glenda poor into us! It is changing lives! ... It has changed this one!
