We Reached The Summit!

The Finale started out with our Alumni carrying in the flag that we would need to plant on the top of the mountain. We had a little fun with a rousing rendition of "Aint No Mountain High Enough" and then we got down to business!

Our quest to reach the summit of Mt. Everest was accomplished! We broke group records, celebrated amazing individual weight loss and planted our flag of victory on the peak!
What a night it was!

This group of climbers lost more weight than any of the previous 10 Team Challenges! Over 3000 pounds were lost as our teams changed their thinking and changed their lives in the last 10 weeks! Emotions ran high while we heard from person after person whose life has been transformed even in the last 10 weeks! Reduced medications, changed marriages and families, and healing from the inside out is happening in the lives of the clients at The Healthy Weigh! Pretty exciting stuff!

Our Top teams of this "Beyond The Limits" Team Challenge were a mystery until the final weigh in! Congratulations to all of you! What an outstanding job you all did!

In third place: Team "Fireball" Dougie and Arty with a 19.78% of weight loss!
In second place: Team "Thunder & Lightning" Peggy and Debbie with a 21.00%!
In first place: Team "Aint No Mountain High Enough" Jim and Jackie with a 21.05%!(that's a record too)

Oh...it was close! We are so proud of these three teams and so many others who did such an outstanding job in these last weeks!
Here are some other award winners!

Top weight loss for a male: Arty R. with 54.0 pounds!
Top weight loss for a female: Bev H. with 48.9 pounds!
Top weight loss % for a male: Ryan B. with a 21.44% loss!
Top weight loss % for a female: Peggy S. with a 24.1% loss! (record breaker!)

We had yet another one of our climbers step into the 100 pound club this week! Congratulations to Marianne! She peaked at the perfect time!
We handed out lots of fun awards, celebrated the members of the 20, 30, 40 and 50 pound clubs and much more!

This group has shown tremendous support and encouragement to each other over the last 10 weeks. I will always remember this Team Challenge as the one where the participants accepted each other, challenged each other and held each other accountable all at the same time! They epitomized the word LOVE! It was an honor to be tethered together with them on this climb!

There is always a sense of loss at the end of each challenge. I will miss this group, I will miss the mountain. However, that doesn't keep me from looking ahead...because we've got a CAMP OUT to go on! Our Spring Team Challenge begins April 10th and I'm excited all over again! It's gonna be FUN!

Congratulations again, to all our "Beyond The Limits" participants that made it to the top last night. Whether you broke a record, met a personal goal, or just hung on for dear life, I'm proud to stand on the top of this mountain with you!

Farewell Winter Team Challenge!

Always encouraging you,
Letha
