2603 Pounds Lost! THAT Takes Willpower!

We did it! We closed out our Spring Team Challenge last night with fun, encouragement and inspiration!  This was our 16th Challenge and I always look forward to the finale! Celebrating the work and the changed lives that have happened in the last 10 weeks is pretty powerful!

We started out the evening introducing two of our Alumni, John and Val Dewitz who ran and completed the Vancouver Marathon Sunday! Val did a beautiful job giving her testimony.  Three years ago when she came to The Healthy Weigh she never dreamed that she would be running a marathon! Congratulations to John and Val...what an accomplishment!

We celebrated a lot of individual weight loss last night, but collectively, our super heroes lost 2603 pounds in the last 10 weeks! Pretty impressive! Learning about willpower and choosing to grow it paid off!

Here's the break down of our winning teams!

In 3rd place: Team "Twice What I Wanna Feed" Frank and Amanda with 16.71%   Winners of $300

In 2nd place: Team "Fit Fitz" Tom and Dana with 17.48%   Winners of $500

In 1st place:   Team "Captain Jiggy and Boy Bubble Butt" Kris and Ruth with a 19.02%  Winners of $1000

Congratulations to these top three teams!  They were serious from the start and never let up! I'm so proud of all of you!

We had some individual winners as well!

Male with the greatest weight loss: Frank S. 62.3 pounds!
Female with the greatest weight loss: Tina S. with 40.0 pounds!

Male with the greatest % of weight loss: Kris H. with 21.6%!
Female with the greatest % of weight loss: Tina S. with 17.49%!

Our Alumni gave out two full ride scholarships to the Summer Team Challenge to deserving challengers! Congratulations to Kim T. and Colton P. for receiving these gifts!  and Thank You to our Alumni for your great support!

Tom F. and Frank S. were our winners of the Summer Team Challenge for having the greatest % of weight loss for the week!  Congratulations to you two...you really rocked it this week!

It's always hard to "say goodbye" to a Team Challenge.  This 10 week challenge has been such a great learning experience.  Our understanding of willpower completely changed from what we believed 10 weeks ago! We now know that we have lots of control over how much willpower we really have!  The choices we make every day either grow it or deplete it!  I challenged our super heroes to "do the work" in the next 4 weeks until we begin our summer Team Challenge!

We are excited about the CHANGES at The Healthy Weigh.  A new lease, a new day of the week and a new theme...all coming at you in July!  I can't wait!

Until then, choose willpower! I will, I won't and I want! It's all up to you!

Signing out for this Super Hero Willpower Team Challenge!

Always encouraging you,
Letha
